Our Courses

At Scarlet Oak Learning Centre, we offer a complete range of English courses for children and teenagers aged 4 to 18. Our programmes are carefully structured to support learners at every stage of their development, from their first contact with English to advanced, near-native proficiency.

As a dedicated Cambridge preparation centre, we guide our students through all Cambridge English levels, using a balanced approach that develops speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills. Our courses combine engaging classroom activities, interactive resources, and structured exam preparation to ensure both confidence and success.

Early Learners (Ages 4–7)

Our youngest students are introduced to English through fun, interactive lessons that focus on vocabulary, listening, and speaking. Using games, songs, and visual materials, children build a strong foundation and develop a natural love for the language.

Pre A1 Starters
This is the first Cambridge level, designed to introduce children to basic English in a fun and supportive way. Students learn simple words and phrases and begin to understand and respond to basic questions.

Primary Learners (Ages 7–10)

A1 Movers
At this level, children expand their vocabulary and start forming simple sentences. They develop their ability to understand instructions, ask and answer questions, and communicate in everyday situations.

 A2 Flyers

This level builds greater confidence in communication. Students learn to use English more independently, understand longer texts, and express ideas more clearly in both spoken and written form.

Secondary Learners (Ages 11–14)

A2 Key (KET)
This is the first level of general English for older learners. Students develop essential communication skills for everyday life, including reading simple texts, writing short messages, and participating in basic conversations.

 B1 Preliminary (PET)

At this level, students become more confident and independent users of English. They can understand main points of texts, express opinions, and communicate in a range of familiar situations.

Teen & Advanced (Ages 14–18)

B2 First (FCE)
This level demonstrates upper-intermediate proficiency. Students can communicate effectively in most situations, understand more complex texts, and express themselves clearly and confidently.

 C1 Advanced (CAE)

At this stage, learners develop advanced language skills, including the ability to understand demanding texts, express ideas fluently, and use English effectively in academic and professional contexts.

 C2 Proficiency (CPE)

This is the highest Cambridge level, showing near-native mastery of English. Students can understand virtually everything they hear or read and express themselves with precision, flexibility, and confidence.

Our Approach

Our courses are designed to support each student’s individual progress, combining expert teaching with engaging materials and continuous assessment. We focus not only on exam success, but also on building real-life communication skills and confidence in using English.

With small groups, personalised attention, and a clear progression path, we ensure that every learner is fully supported on their journey to achieving their goals.
